Great location! Near enough to the station to make it walkable, but of course nestled within the beautiful centre. I had planned a proposal to my (then) girlfriend on this trip, and the staff were all incredibly accommodating to my (probably irritating) plans. The room was great, the shower was great, the breakfast was great, the amenities were great, the cleanliness was top notch. The stars, however, were every member of staff we met, who helped in some of the organisation of the proposal, and who made my fiancée feel very special! Loved our stay - we almost wish we hadn't been out and about every day and had some time to truly enjoy the hotel. Maybe we'll come back one day. I hope we do!

We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included and had a delightful visit. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. The breakfast was delicious, with loads of choice from continental to full hot cooked breakfasts, pastries and waffles. The scrambled eggs were the best I've had from this sort of buffet and the hot beverage machine made divine deluxe hot chocolate and lattes. Staff were really friendly and helpful, including at the bar and parking was secure and convenient. Watch out if you have a longer or larger vehicle, though, as the underground car park is quite tight! If we revisit Bruges, we'd definitely stay there again.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Bruges old Town, near enough to walk but just away from the crowds. The staff were very welcoming including the tasty Belgium Chocolate, and the Christmas decorations were classy. The hotel was really cosy and the bar well used which gave a nice atmosphere when returning after an evening out in the town. Plenty of places to eat and drink on the doorstep plus many more only 10 mins away in the main square and side streets. Lastly the breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice of high quality food and drink, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Definitely would stay again and recommend

Location. Near Lake of love and only 10 minutes pleasant walk to Market Square, past shops and bars. Hotel and rooms were spotless. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and always refreshed, Reception and breakfast staff were helpful and pleasant. We even had towels in the shape of swans on our bed as it was our anniversary. Lovely extra touch. Yes...a door on the bathroom! .. .I am surprised how many hotels don't have them! Privacy hygiene and smells issue...thank goodness Dukes Academie has private bathrooms and with doors which are not glass!! The locks did not work but was happy there was a door. Hurrah. Loved our stay here.

The whole hotel felt very modern, the staff were excellent, and the bar was really nice too. Our room was a great size, the bed was super comfortable too. The staff made a really lovely towel swan on our bed as it was our anniversary. We also got lots of treats (brownies, nibbles) at check in and when buying drinks which was a nice touch. The breakfast was generous with options and very tasty too.
